Agape Children’s Museum endeavors to empower children and their families through health, literacy and art, helping to inspire to become impactful members of their community. We believe the power of art can be a foundational force which exposes human beings to exciting ways of learning and educating the world around us.
During the Holiday Season, Agape Children’s Museums hosts it’s Annual “Night of Giving Holiday Party honoring CHASE BANKS FOR Their support for the Holiday Toy Drive for Children with Autism” as well as our Adopt-A-Family for the holiday Season program and finally honoring the many volunteers who have given their time during the 2017 calendar year. Through our museum partnership with CHASE, a record 25 banks were instrumental in helping the museum meet our goal of having a holiday gift for each of the neediest children and their families affected by autism. The museum always welcomes the opportunity to partner with our local community business and financial institutions during this holiday season in working together to make a special effort to help brighten the holidays for deserving families of children of autism. This seasons “Night of Giving Holiday Party” will be held on Saturday, December 16th from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at The Nonprofit Center Conference Room, 3515 Linden Avenue, Long Beach 90807.

There are several colors associated with the winter holidays. This Family Event highlights various seasonal colors. Whether your family celebrates Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa or none of the above, children and their families will have fun learning about the heart and spirit of various winter traditions

“Colors of the Season” Art Experience features various Holiday Art Activities for children and their families including Misel toes art, Christmas Story art, and letters to Santa with his personal mailbox and much more!

Agape Children’s Museum, and Agape Cares is collecting new, unwrapped toys during November 18 through December 16 and will distribute them to deserving families of children with autism on December 16, 2017. Please place your unwrapped toy in the box at your local participating Long Beach/Lakewood and Southbay Area CHASE Banks. Agape Children’s Museum, Agape Cares along with CHASE Banks appreciates your contribution and would love for you to keep the causes of children with autism in mind when purchasing the toys.

Make plans to attend the 2017 Family Health Festival on September 30, 2017, from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm at Admiral Kidd Park in West Long Beach. Agape Children’s Museum (ACM) is Long Beach’s only children museum. It is a “Museum Without Walls,” meaning that it’s a mobile platform designed to be able to outreach to the local community. Our mission is to provide a hands-on learning environment that promotes the overall health and awareness of children and their families. Since 2011, ACM has served as an art, literacy and health advocate and resource for children and caregivers living in the greater Long Beach area and the surrounding communities. The museum prides itself on forging partnerships with other organizations and participating in community events, educational outreach programs and traveling exhibits.
2017 Family Health Festival Mission
To promote health awareness to the residents of Long Beach and surrounding communities, to collaborate with health and wellness providers and specialists, and to motivate participants to make positive health behavior changes in their lives. This will become an annual event.
2017 Family Health Festival Objectives
Agape Children’s Museum is a 501 (c) (3) organization as such all sponsorship and donation money be kept in an integrity based accounting system. To provide transparency of all financial transaction will be provided to sponsors of this event.

ART IS EDUCATION FESTIVAL is an annual, much anticipated community-wide showcase demonstrating the power of youth learning in and through the arts.
Each March, during National Arts Education Month, Agape Children’s Museum along with local schools, school districts, libraries and community arts organizations plan annually to mount exhibitions, performances and public events, where students have opportunities to share the process through which they have learned new skills, solved problems, taken risks, and persisted through obstacles, in order to bring form to their ideas expressed in works of art.
