The Agape Cares Program is the Community Service branch of Agape Children’s Museum and serves the Community in many different ways. The program builds on the mission of addressing important health, art and literacy issues in our community. Agape Cares programs and volunteers work to provide endless hours of hands-on service to kids and families living, learning and playing in communities within and around Greater Long Beach.

Agape Cares was created on a foundation of strong partnerships with community organizations, which continue to positively influence children and families in our community. Community partners have joined Agape Cares in a joint effort to support projects and activities that enhance the community they serve. These critical and important partnerships provide many opportunities to address a variety of health, art and literacy needs.

Every December during the holiday season Agape Children’s Museum, Agape Cares and Local CHASE BANKS collects new, unwrapped TOYS and distributes them to deserving families of children with autism through the charitable organization Autism in Long Beach at the Annual Night of Giving Gala. During the Thanksgiving season Agape Cares with the help and support of Foodfinders Inc, provides turkeys to needy families at the annual Harvest Festival hosted by the Museum.
