On behalf of the Board and staff of Agape Children’s Museum, I would like to express our sincere gratitude and thanks for the community’s support of the Red Party Gala. We are grateful for the generosity of our annual Gala guests, volunteers and local businesses for making this event a success.

Agape Children’s Museum cannot continue – or grow – its outreach to the community through exhibits, programs, and educational experiences without your support. Your participation and gifts have allowed the museum to offer specialty programming for families with children on the autism spectrum and adults afflicted with memory loss and/or dementia.

At this year’s awards dinner Community leaders such as Kerry Chhay, the Pacific Asia Counseling Services, Sherlyn Beatty of the Long Beach Parks and Recreation and Boys Scouts Executive Sherry Martinez were recognized for living the mission of the Agape Children’s Museum in the local community. We extend our gratitude to this year’s lead sponsors, Amoye Health, Mo’s Ballon Creations, Women In Action Reaching Out and The Port of Long Beach for their Support.

We will continue to build on the year’s successes with the support of our friends and community with a renewed commitment to the Agape Children’s Museum over the months ahead. There’s so much more we can accomplish if we do it together, and the need within our community for museum experiences and access is great.

Thank you again for your commitment to Agape Children’s Museum. I look forward to the new Gala Committee, “Friends of Agape” who will be hosting the event next year and helping to steward the museum’s mission with each of you during the months and years ahead.

For the Children and their Families,

Vaughn Pitts, M.Ed
