Children’s Day Celebration

Children’s Day Celebration is celebrated in many countries around the globe such as Mexico, the Philippines, and Turkey to name a few. It is dedicated to the hopes of the child within us all and to children everywhere. It focuses on ways to improve communities to be better parents, people, mentors, and role models for children and causes us to think about what we do that affects everything around us and future generations

In addition other activities include guest community artists that provide a day of opportunities for children and their families to immerse themselves in creative experiences and projects that they may not otherwise be exposed to, such as: cultural presentations and collaborative works of art, to name a few. Finally, in conjunction with this event, Agape will be conducting a community and school-wide Cultural Art Exchange contest with Sochi, Russia entitled, “My Favorite Place”. Students will draw their favorite place in Long Beach with a brief explanation and submit it in the contest. Student’s artwork will be displayed in an exhibit at the Art Is Education Festival.

Agape Children’s Museum would be honored for your participation in this great event on Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at Cabrillo High School, 2001 Santa Fe Ave in Long Beach. The day will also be featuring outstanding children’s authors, musical and cultural artists as well.
